I got a great newsletter from a young couple who work for Campus Crusade for Christ in Wanshington, DC. They put out a huge banner at Georgetown University’s annual all-day block party that read “Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.” The quote from from Ben Franklin caught peoples attention which allowed our friends to talk to college students about the things in life that help us see God’s love.
They said, “Without endorsing drinking, we managed to have over 100 conversations and at least one person who said that he wanted to invite Christ into his life. Apparently anything can start a conversation about Jesus.”
So, what could you use to start a conversation with someone about Jesus? Just a thought!
